4 Guardias Civiles han sido condenados a 10 meses de prisión por insultar, realizar bromas, poner motes y comentarios homófobos y despectivos contra un compañero de cuartel. Los hechos se produjeron entre los años 2010 y 2014 en el cuartel de Noia, en la provincia de A Coruña.
Los condenados son el cabo primero Julio Martínez Blanco, y los guardias civiles Isidoro Bellver Prieto, Carlos Antonio Janeiro Brea y Avelino Manuel Rivadullo Iglesias.
El veredicto lo ha dictado la Sala de lo Militar del Tribunal Supremo. Esta Sala ha desestimado el recurso de casación presentado por los acusados contra la sentencia del Tribunal Militar Territorial Cuarto, que tiene su sede en A Coruña, que en junio de 2021 les impuso la pena de 10 meses de cárcel por los delitos de abuso de autoridad, en su modalidad de acoso profesional o atentado grave contra la dignidad personal en el trabajo o realizando actos que supongan discriminación por la orientación sexual, previsto y penado en el artículo 48 del Código Penal Militar de 2015, aplicando la atenuante de dilaciones indebidas.
